Meet the Director of the Research for Patient Benefit Programme
David Armstrong (left) is Professor of Medicine and Sociology at King’s College London and Honorary Consultant in Public Health Medicine at the Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust. He has chaired the Medical Research Council’s Health Services and Public Health Research Board and been a member of its Council. His research interests embrace health services research, especially in primary care, and the sociology of medical knowledge.
